The heat of Kerala was at its top a couple of weeks back. The picture changed to slight drizzle and moderate rain, beginning May. Soon the enjoyment of new rain was changed to awe as a few days through the rain became incessant and all roads and canals started to submerge on severe rains.
The overall sky was totally over clouded and a dark hue persisted in the mornings and afternoons. The wells in our area became almost filled but for one or two rings!
News were filled with reports of tree falls and such other minor accidents. One has to be extremely careful on journeys outside as climatic fury may come up at any time.
We are taking care to drive slow and at late mornings through noon time. It's better to be back before dusk.
